Full Time Primary Care Physician / Future Practice Partner

Primary Care Physician Responsibilities
An established and respected primary care practice in Riverdale, New York is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Provider to join the practice full-time. This is a unique opportunity for a physician who is interested not only in patient care but also in practice ownership. The current owner is planning retirement and is seeking a long-term partner to help transition and eventually assume leadership of the practice.
The incoming provider will benefit from an existing patient base, experienced staff, and a well-established reputation within the community.

Primary Care Physician Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations.
  • Manage chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and other common conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong patient relationships while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary providers as needed.
  • Participate in practice management discussions and strategic planning.

Primary Care Physician Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (or NP/PA with significant primary care experience, if applicable).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care specialty.
  • Active New York medical license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in long-term practice growth and future ownership opportunities preferred.
